What is Community, Serve Us?
Community, Serve Us is the groundbreaking, flagship project of Studio Kula by Busko, Allen, Bodosi & Stefuliga LLC and is a fiscally sponsored project of the non-profit, KARMANT Learning. We endeavor to source user-driven innovative solutions for humanitarian crises at the local level by providing a collaborative hub where members can crowdsource ideas, connect with experts, and engage directly with community leaders and service providers. Every challenge is explored holistically and non-partisanly. Users can create personalized profiles showcasing their unique skills and submit them to community leaders and foundations, fostering the opportunity to support and implement tangible, action-driven solutions derived from member input.
Together, we will develop blueprints for change and mobilize the resources needed to solve crises affecting communities across the U.S.
Our pilot issue: The LA Wildfires.
Why Should I join?
By joining Community, Serve Us, you become part of a movement shaping real change. Whether you want to share ideas, connect with experts, or use your skills to support local initiatives, this platform enables you to take meaningful action. Members can create personalized profiles, collaborate on innovative solutions, and help mobilize the resources needed to address crises affecting communities across the U.S. Your voice and expertise can make a difference!
What is a beta?
It is early access, public testing, in this case, to an initial set of features that will allow us to gain user feedback and help us to build out the platform features and content based on user input. This is key because our goal is to design this platform so that it delivers extensive value to citizens of the U.S.
Who can join Community, Serve Us?
Community, Serve Us is open to both adults and youth (ages 11-17). We provide a separate, safe space for younger participants, ensuring they can engage with content designed for their age group without direct communication with other users. We are currently focused on humanitarian crises in the U.S.; however, the platform is open to users worldwide and we will expand to international issues in the next few years.
Do I need to create a profile to participate?
No. Profiles allow interested members to take their involvement to the next level. There will be opportunities where community leaders or the foundations we support need volunteers to help enable the good ideas that the community members have identified. Members with profiles can identify their special skills and submit them when leaders reach out for volunteers.
Are there any restrictions for usernames and profile photos?
To help ensure a safe, inclusive, and mission-driven space, we ask all members to opt for usernames & profile photos that are anonymous, respectful and reflect our shared values. Why is this important? Our community is built on the principles of collaboration, compassion, and creative problem-solving. Anonymity allows us to focus on ideas instead of identities, and neutrality helps us stay focused on our shared goals, not our differences.
While we recommend anonymity and encourage nothing that associates you with special interest groups, political parties, logos or personal identifiers, etc, prohibited items include, but are not limited to:
– slurs, coded language, or suggestive innuendo of any kind
– Representations that support or promote political agendas, hate-based or discriminatory ideologies, or special interest groups
– Any association with or promotion of terrorist activity, violence, or illegal behavior
– Content promoting the use of alcohol, tobacco, illicit drugs, or firearms
– Anything that may be deemed intimidating, offensive, or inconsistent with our mission
See the Terms & Conditions for more information.
How is a Public Figure or Organization Verified on the Platform?
At Community, Serve Us, trust and integrity are core to our mission. To ensure impartiality and uphold our commitment to civil discourse and unbiased collaboration, we require verification of any individual who intends to publicly represent an organization, influence users through their public status, or speak on behalf of a group or community.

How can I contribute beyond the interactive elements within the community?

Is my name or identity public?
No. all users choose a unique username and nothing identifying about them is shared publicly, unless they choose a user name that has some identifying details. Since all of our user’s input is so valuable, we encourage members not to create usernames with any identifying details to help avoid unconscious bias when others are considering their input.
