What is Community, Serve Us?
Community, Serve Us is the groundbreaking, flagship project of Studio Kula by Busko, Allen, Bodosi & Stefuliga LLC and is a fiscally sponsored project of the non-profit, KARMANT Learning. We endeavor to source user-driven innovative solutions for humanitarian crises at the local level by providing a collaborative hub where members can crowdsource ideas, connect with experts, and engage directly with community leaders and service providers. Every challenge is explored holistically and non-partisanly. Users can create personalized profiles showcasing their unique skills and submit them to community leaders and foundations, fostering the opportunity to support and implement tangible, action-driven solutions derived from member input.
Together, we will develop blueprints for change and mobilize the resources needed to solve crises affecting communities across the U.S.

What is a beta?
It is early access, public testing, in this case, to an initial set of features that will allow us to gain user feedback and help us to build out the platform features and content based on user input. This is key because our goal is to design this platform so that it delivers extensive value to citizens of the U.S.
Who can join Community, Serve Us?
Community, Serve Us is open to both adults and youth (ages 11-17). We provide a separate, safe space for younger participants, ensuring they can engage with content designed for their age group without direct communication with other users. We are currently focuses on humanitarian crises in the U.S.; however, the platform is open to users worldwide and we will expand to international issues in the next few years.
Do I need to create a profile to participate?
No. Profiles allow interested members to take their involvement to the next level. There were be opportunities where community leaders or the foundations we support need volunteers to help enable the good ideas that the community members have identified. Members with profiles can identify their special skills and submit them when leaders reach out for volunteers.
How does the platform ensure unbiased discussions?
Community, Serve Us removes unconscious bias by allowing users to be identified only by their username. This ensures ideas and solutions are evaluated based on their merit, not personal identity.
How can I contribute beyond the interactive elements within the community?
In addition to participating in conversations, sharing your ideas and voting on solutions, you can submit your profile to connect with communities and foundations in need of skilled volunteers. This allows you to take an active role in enabling real change.
Is my name or identity public?
No. all users choose a unique username and nothing identifying about them is shared publicly, unless they choose a user name that has some identifying details. Since all of our user’s input is so valuable, we encourage members not to create usernames with any identifying details to help avoid unconscious bias when others are considering their input.
