World Health Organization (WHO) and World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH) have announced the goals for World Mental Health Day 2026 and the Community, Serve Us platform is perfectly positioned to support their goals of:

• Amplifying Stories: Highlighting firsthand experiences to shape effective policies and break stigmas.
• Deinstitutionalization: Supporting the World Health Organization initiative on transitioning toward community-based mental health and social care.
• Global Action: Encouraging organizations worldwide to host events centered on meaningful engagement and human rights

Help Change Policy and Receive a Mental Wellness Gift Bag for Participating

To help broaden the success of these goals, we are launching a 10-day campaign leading up to World Mental Health Day on October 10, 2026.  From October 1-10, we will issue 10 challenges that allow you to share your firsthand experiences to help shape effective policies and break stigma.  Users who successfully participate in all 10 challenges, which range from simply signing up for Community, Serve Us to adding your voice to our Ideas for Change, Unity Forums or Wall of Hope will receive a special MENTAL WELLNESS GIFT BAG.

Next Voice Invites Participation from 13-17 Year Olds

As we recognize World Mental Health Day, we are proud to announce the launch of Next Voice, our safe, gated community dedicated to allowing teens age 13-17 to participate in helping to solve the humanitarian crises that they will one day inherit.  Next Voice is managed through a partnership with KARMANT Learning.  To learn more about their work and mission, please visit: K-Life Collaboration.

Conditions of Giveaway

A few notes on participation:

• You must be a US resident age 13 or older.
• You don't have to complete the challenges on the days that they are issued, but you must complete all 10 by 11:59 PM PST on October 10.
• Only those who qualify for the gift bag will be asked for their addresses.  Addresses will only be stored until fulfillment is complete and will not be used or shared for any other reason.
